Bulsha:- Reliable information that we have received confirms that the Commander of the Somaliland Military Forces was put on strike on Sunday afternoon this week.
Commander Nuh Tani was suspended after the Somaliland forces failed to bring him out of the ongoing war in the Sool region, vacating Tukaraq and Gambadhe Commands.
The Somaliland forces also evacuated all the defenses of the city of Lasanood in the capital of Sool region, where for almost a month there has been a war between Somaliland and the local people.
It has been confirmed that more than 120 people, most of them civilians, have been killed in the battle of Lasanod, while more than 600 others have been injured.
According to reliable sources, President Muse Bihi temporarily handed over the General Command of the Somaliland Forces to Major General Faisal Abdi Butaan who is currently leading the war.
Faisal Butaan convinced Muse Bihi that Nuh Tani is responsible for the failure of the war, which led to him being temporarily handed over to the leadership of the war, according to our information.
Somaliland believed that it could easily win the war and capture the city of Lasanood, and the local people could not resist, but a month later, the war is still going on in the city, and the local forces have not been removed.
Somaliland has also inherited a bad reputation from the war, as it has been accused many times of targeting civilian areas, and most recently on Tuesday it was accused of attacking the hospital in Lasaanood, killing civilians.
This issue has led to international condemnation from the international community, which has repeatedly issued statements condemning the killing of civilians.
