There's a jobs boost for the North East this morning.
Hanley Energy has announced over 225 new jobs as part of a significant expansion of its operations in Ireland.
It includes a new manufacturing facility in Monaghan and large development of its existing site in Dundalk.
The company says the new jobs, which are supported by Enterprise Ireland, will include a diverse range of roles including highly skilled engineers across electrical, mechanical and controls disciplines, apprenticeships, general operatives and production staff.
The news has been welcomed by Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar:
