Bulsha:- Men who have difficulty maintaining erections usually are more infrequent sex. But, is it true that the low frequency of sex actually makes erections increasingly sluggish?
Research on the subject conducted in 2008 that followed 989 men aged 50,60 and 70 years old for five years. Known men who have sex less than once a week turns two times greater risk of suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED), aka impotence. The more rarely made love, the greater the risk of experiencing ED.
"The results of this study indicate that sex regularly have effects such as regular exercise, which maintains functional capacity," the researchers wrote.
Indeed, in the study it was not mentioned whether masturbation can also maintain male sexual function. "I think the effect will be the same for both sex and masturbation are equally protect nerve function and blood vessel function in erection," says Juha Koskimaki, urologist.
Even so, not all doctors agree that regular sex can prevent impotence. "Sex is good, masturbation is also good, but the concept that men have to have sex to keep his erection function is still being debated," said Irwin Goldstein, director of sexual kedoktaran in San Diego.
Experts agree that the key to maintaining an erection is the male sexual function. Ereks this can be done with or without sex. Anyway, every man experienced spontaneous erections when they sleep. So, though it is not sex that most men actually own the prevention of the occurrence of ED.
