Calculating Ovulation Women After Haid

Bulsha:- Estimating and calculating the fertile period of women after menstruation is one of the main ways to have children. That's why for planning a pregnancy, you need to have a record of menstrual periods.

What is a menstrual cycle or period?

Menstrual Cycle is a range of days from the first day of menstruation until the first day of next menstruation. The normal menstrual cycle is every 21-35 days. Day 1 (one) on the menstrual cycle is the first day of menstruation occurs.

When is the start of a menstrual period?

Menstruation begins on the first day when the uterine lining to decay and become blood, out of the vagina. At the time of menstruation, the egg will develop in the ovaries. When the egg is mature, the ovary will release the egg, this event is called ovulation.

When ovulation occurs?

Generally, ovulation occurs about 12-14 days before the first day of menstruation. Actually, the day when ovulation occurs depends on your menstrual cycle. If your cycles are shorter, for example, just 22 days, then ovulation can occur just a few days after your period ends. So, the time of ovulation can be different on each woman. Therefore, it is important for you to know your menstrual cycle in order to estimate the time of ovulation.

Your fertile period?

Your fertile period revolve around the time of ovulation, roughly five days before ovulation occurs. Generally the woman's fertile period is 12-16 days before the next menstrual period. In other words, the average woman has fertile period between day 10 to day 17 after the first day of menstruation before. This is true for women who have regular menstrual cycles of 28 days. However, if your cycle is different, you can try to learn and calculate when your fertile period.

The challenge is generally old woman's menstrual period may change from time to time, usually lasts 2-7 days. These conditions make ovulation may differ a week faster or slower than the next period.

On the other hand, in addition to the process of ovulation, pregnancy is largely determined by the process of sperm reaching the egg. In order to get pregnant, the egg cell that has matured must be fertilized within 12 to 24 hours.

Calculating Alone
In short a period of 12-24 hours should be fertilized egg makes the importance of detecting in those days whether women are at the most fertile. Generally this fertile period is calculated based on the records and analysis of menstrual cycles for at least 8 months.

Estimates of the fertile period can be calculated by the following formula:

  • Know your shortest cycle. For example: 27 days. Subtract this number by 18. The result: 9. This figure is the first day when you are at the most fertile.
  • Know your longest cycle. For example: 30 days. Subtract this number with the number 11. The result: 19. This number is the last day when you are most fertile.

Thus, if your average cycle is 27-30 days, then you will be most fertile on days 9 to 19.

To further enhance the prediction of the most fertile days, you can use some other indicators such as:

  • Basal body temperature increases. Basal body temperature is the body temperature when you wake up in the morning. The normal temperature is 35.5 - 36.6 degrees Celsius. But if your body temperature rises a little higher than that number, it may mean you have ovulated within 1-2 days.

  • The mucus of the cervix. Mucus can occur from a thick, wet, until thick, semi-transparent. This mucus changes indicate changes in estrogen levels in the body, which also bodes whether ovulation is imminent. You are called to be on a very fertile period when this liquid is actually clear, slippery, and stretchy, like raw egg whites. This fluid will facilitate and protect the course of the sperm to the fallopian tube to meet the egg.

  • Mild to severe pain in the abdomen or one back. Some women feel this around the time of ovulation. This pain can actually be one of the signs to help detect the most fertile period.

  • Feeling more passionate. Some women feel more passionate, more energetic, and more easily socialize while experiencing fertility.

Details Menstrual Cycle
To further clarify what happens after a woman's menstrual period, the following is a detail of the menstrual cycle from day to day in general:
Day 1 to 5:

  • Menstruation occurs because there is no fertilization or you do not get pregnant.
  • Progesterone and estrogen levels become low.
  • Body temperature 35.5 - 36.6 degrees Celsius.

Day 6 to 7: The brain produces hormones which then stimulates the formation of the egg.
Day 8 (can be elongated up to day 12): The walls of the uterus back to thicken and create increased supply of blood vessels, in preparation to receive a fertilized egg.
Day 10: the vaginal mucus becomes thick and sticky.
Day 12: the vaginal mucus becomes more clear, slippery, and stretchy, indicating ovulation is near. Although ovulation is still a few days away, sexual relations conducted in this period can lead to pregnancy because sperm can survive 2-5 days inside a woman's body.
Day 13: estrogen increased drastically before finally declining.
Day 14: estrogen levels start to fall. This triggers the production of other hormones that cause the ovaries to release eggs. This is called ovulation. The egg can survive for about 12-24 hours.
Day 15-22: if it is not fertilized, generally fertile period has ended.
The color of the mucus becomes cloudy and dark.
Day 25-27: because there is no fertilization, progesterone levels begin to decline and mucus to become thick or not produced at all.

28th day: no fertilization mean levels of estrogen and progesterone continues to decline. With decreasing levels of these hormones, menstruation begins tomorrow.

By estimating and calculating the fertile period after period, you will be more helpful in planning a pregnancy and evaluating reproductive health.
