Actress Shenaz Treasurywala, known for her roles in films like Ishq Vishq and Delhi Belly, will soon be seen making her Hollywood debut with The Big Sick.
Confirming the news, Shenaz opened up about the film and her role in it and said, “The Big Sick is the story about two families, a Pakistani family and an American family. The Pakistani family has lived in America for a long time and tried to assimilate their Pakistani values and cultures but is still subject to racism in America because racism is still very prominent in America. This is a very good time or the movie to come out because of all that is happening in America right now. I play a young Pakistani girl, who is Anupam Kher’s daughter-in-law in the film.”
Scheduled to release on 14 July, the cast of the movie comprises Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Ramano, Anupam Kher and many more.
